Shanese – Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
Shanese has been a dental assistant since 2010. She graduated on the Dean’s List from Fortis College. She has worked with Dr. Mikell since 2016 and strives to give patients the highest quality of care. Shanese also enjoys her job because there is always something new to learn, and the patient satisfaction is a great reward.
Outside of work, Shanese enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes. Shanese and her family also love taking spur of the moment trips to “Nowhere”, just to see where the road leads them.
Stacey joined our team in October of 2019 and brings a lot of knowledge with her. She has been in the dental field since she graduated top of her class from The SC School of Dental Assisting in 2011. She enjoys helping our patients and is familiar with all aspects of dentistry- from the clinical side to insurance.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her son, Tanner. She also enjoys cooking, boating at the lake, the beach, Gamecock football, and vacations with family and friends.
Jess has been a Dental Assistant since 2019. She is passionate about dentistry and building a relationship with each patient. Jess enjoys her job because she loves learning and improving every day.
In her free time Jess loves spending time with her Shih Tzu, Rusty, as well as her family and friends. She also enjoys baking, painting, reading, and finding new things to do in Columbia.
Tracy has been in the dentistry profession for nearly 30 years. She considers this her true passion because she has the opportunity to make a difference in patients’ lives every day. Her philosophy is based on educating patients on their individual needs and making people feel comfortable while building confidence, trust, and friendships.
In her free time, Tracy enjoys being a busy parent to her two children. Tracy and her husband are often seen attending their children’s sporting events. On Sunday, Tracy teaches Sunday School. She also enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers.
Becoming a dental hygienist was a dream that began in childhood for Hayley. She attended Columbia College, Midlands Technical College, and Horry Georgetown Technical College. She has been practicing dental hygiene since 2013. The best part of her work day is building rapport and professional relationships with her patients, and helping maintain bright, beautiful smiles in her community. Outside of work you will find Hayley spoiling her niece Sofia, reading, being outdoors, and cheering for the Gamecocks & the Chicago Cubs.
